Anyone have this on back foot ?

Preacher has a spot on the outside of his right back foot. I know it's a contact point when he lays on a hard surface. Not sure what I can do for it other than put ointment on it. I have Corona ointment that I just started using. I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this type of thing on their dog. It doesn't seem to bother him when he is outside. He does tend to lick it some when he is just laying on the sofa. Thanks for your comments.

I don't think I've seen it on any of our dogs unless they have an abrasion of some sort.
You could try the Corona and then put a fleece boot on him so he can't lick it off.

I'm pretty sure I've seen those type of spots on the sides of paws.

Years ago, I used to use Bag Balm to help with things like elbow calluses.

I second the bag balm. Joker has those on his back feet. He has a Primo Pad in his crate, and he's only in his crate maybe 2 hrs during the day, then all night.
Preacher lays on the wood deck and concrete quite a bit. I know that's not a good thing but when the weather is bad it can't be helped.

Without supervision I can guarantee you he would rip anything off that I cover his foot with. I'm going to try putting ointment on when I'm with him so he won't lick.
