A romp in the hay

[JanS]

It does look nice and cozy and a fun soft playground. I think the dogs approve.

What is it about hay, straw or even corn stalks and leaves? My son's dog Gigi was here for the fall clean up this year. I'd look around and no Gigi. About scared me to death the first time because I thought she found a way to get out. Nope! She was hiding under a big pile of leaves. Pretty soon all 3 dogs thought that was the greatest thing ever. Took about 10 times longer to get the yard cleaned up, but so worth it to see them having so much fun.

Agreed! They also like jumping in the Imperial Grass, hiding in it, and just playing in and around it. They will run at full speed and jump right through it like kids do in a sprinkler. I'm going to try and take them to the hay barn and see what kind of fun we can get into.
