We’ve been celebrating Kaiser’s 7th birthday with some of his favorite activities

A walk to a water fall. 4CB74EA6-27C8-4124-9AF8-8EBC8328A11C.webp69FE6C5A-F285-41B5-A27F-5ABBCED33536.webpC4D18D25-6A05-495E-9069-64FC764EAC6C.webp

He was still smiling in the evening!

Happy Birthday handsome Kaiser!!! :dobe: :hb:

Hard to believe 7 years has already passed but it looks like he had a perfect day.

Wow!
Damn he is looking good!

I want to know how many people on that walk way side stepped or gave the fear look of a badass Doberman coming through?

Y’all are doing a great job!

Happy Bday Kaiser!!

Thank you! With the narrow walk way and me stopping to take pics, my hb and Kaiser often ended up ahead of me but it turned out great because I could hear all the comments: Wow, what a big dog. Beautiful dog. Good looking dog. That's a Doberman. But my favorite was: That's a lot of dog 😆 The guy who said it didn't seem to say it in a positive way either. He was wide-eyed and his mouth was hanging open, almost like disbelief. It was interesting to see that type of reaction and, yes, he is a lot of dog lol.

Many people did a double take, some would smile and others would hold their breath as we passed, but everyone would keep their eyes on the dog and not make any sudden moves. It was pretty fascinating to watch because people will instinctively hold their arms closer to their body, or if they already had their arms up holding on to their backpacks, they would tighten the grip on the backpack lol.

Two older ladies seemed really scared. One actually held on to the canyon wall to get the most distance from Kaiser. It was an over the top reaction from her, but I could see the fear was real. The other one stayed behind her hb and held on to his shoulders as they slowly passed by.

There were other dogs as well and some of those people seemed afraid to pass Kaiser. We had several moments of 'pressing' Kaiser into the fencing while we stood still so that those people could pass without the dogs interacting. All the people traffic stopped during those moments too 😄 For one of these moments, the other dog (a little one too) barked and then Kaiser barked back. When Kaiser barked, it seemed like everyone gasped 😆 Never a dull moment!

A funny thing that made me smile was the amount of people who commented on Kaiser's testicles 😜 One group of young men noticed and they were impressed by the size of them LOL. A group of young women also had a good giggle upon seeing them, so I was pretty happy to see I'm not the only one who is paying attention to them :spit:

I almost had to hit funny because of that part.

I have noticed the 55-70 age group are generally scared of my dog. People older than that generally are excited to see a Doberman and comment that they never see them anymore. And a lot of people younger than say 25, ask what breed it is. And the age group in the middle, I can never guess what their reaction is going to be. Could be good, could be bad.

I always equated Ragnar to Kaiser…a black formidable beast that had that look. Rag wouldn’t hurt a soul but he had that look that would scare the shat out of folks. They would stop in their tracks or cross the street.

Such a magnificent presence to behold.
