Hi everyone,
Noya was just diagnosed with hip dysplasia by the vet. From the vet’s explanation and my understanding, hip dysplasia is not something that can be fully ‘cured.’ Instead it’s just something you manage (correct me if I’m wrong). As of now, the doctor gave me synoquin and rimadyl to...
Hi! It’s been a whole year since I posted. Wanted to share that today Noya turned 6. I made him a cake, got him a party hat (surprisingly he tolerated), and several other goodies. Here’s some picture of the birthday boy!
Hi guys wanted to share some pics of Noya’s 5th birthday. I got myself a disposable camera thinking it’ll make it better but guess I’m not born with good photography skills😓
This was last November but only got it developed. He had a proper doggy cake and had a blast destroying it:)
Hi!
Noya really likes eating grass and nothing I’ve done stopped his love for it. Was wondering is there a substitution to it? I can’t guarantee the safety of my grass (I’m scared if they got contaminated by other animals) so would like it if I can somehow dissuade him from doing it.
Thank you!
Hi, I've been thinking of alternatign between my pro plan and another feed that has different protein source (thery only import the pro plan chicken into my country).
I was thinking of trying the diamond naturals lamb and meal and the skin and coat (fish) for his alternative food. Have any of...
Hi, I want to ask for help and guidance with Noya’s behaviour.
So Noya is very interested in other dogs in a non-aggressive way. He bullies them into playing with him. Like he will chase them around hoping that another dog will play with him. Any recall will be ignored when he is playing with...
Hi! I just boarded noya in a training school for 2 weeks (this is his second day) and he’s only eating a little of his food. I also brought his kibble with him (he’s been eating this kibble for almost a year)
So the problem arises because his trainer is concerned because he’s eating little. I...
Hi, I’m currently trying to find a crash tested kennel (probably a gunner) and I’m kind of confused. To measure doberman’s height do we go from the bottom of their feat to the tip of their ears or to their shoulder? And what ate the appropriate crate measurements for them?
I think I’ve seen a...
Hi guys! Ever since I met another dog at the vet ER (at 1 AM) who had bloating, I have been very paranoid. It doesn’t matter that I feed him at a proper time (1 hour after 1 hour before exercise), I just can’t shake off the fear. So I would like to as several questions regarding bloating.

Hi guys! Looks like this year me and my sister have to move abroad for a year. We will be going to different countries, US for my sister and England/Netherlands for me. We are thinking of bring our dogs with us; poodle and schnauzer with my sis and Noya (my doberman) with me. I am quite confused...
Hi, this is my second month of doing raw feeding, I’d like to ask how many organs do you usually use for a monthly rotation? For example 5 (gizzards, hearts, tripe, liver, spleen).
Honestly raw feeding has been good but I get stressed from trying to have a big variety. Thank you!
Hi, I’m planning to feed my dog some satin balls in the next two months just to try to increase his weight (he is a little bit underweight). Is it okay for me to use lean cut pork instead of beef? Pork is cheaper compared to beed in my area. Thank you!
Hi guys, I noticed something from my dog. From my daily observation, I realized that he would have pale gums during day time and back to a healthy colour at night. The pale is not paper white but it is like a very subtle pink. What’s weird is that it’ll only happen during day time. At night or...
Hi, I was thinking of making a dog bed for my doberman from a second hand baby crib. I was searching and saw several people doin it too, mostly for small and medium sized dogs (the biggest probably lab and gsd).
I was thinking would it be possible for dobermans too. The maximum weight load for...
Hi, I’m thinking of remodelling areas in my house with smooth tiles. Would it be too slippery for dobermans? My smaller dogs are not that prone too slipping but my doberman occasionally (when he runs) slips even in a textured tile. Here’s a sample of the tiles I’m going to use (took it from google).
Hi, I think this will be last question before starting raw. Is a animal nutritionist (I don’t know the correct term) needed to create a balanced and safe raw food? I saw a lot of tiktok videos that says a nutritionist is needed to start raw so that we’ll know what to do.
I honestly don’t know...
Hi guys, I have been researching about raw diet this one week and I stumbled across a ‘cheat sheet’ by paws of prey.
It looks legit in my beginner opinion. They give out percentages of meat/parts and even how to calculate calorie needed. But then again I am a beginner, so my knowledge is not...
Hii, I’m think of switching to raw. Most likely I’ll be going with a prepared one. How much percentage to dog weight raw food do you usually feed your dogs? The brand’s instruction said 2-4%. My dog is a three year old male. His activity is not that high.
Hi! A week ago, Noya had his 3rd birthday. I made a doggy cake for him and spoiled him with treats the entire day. I’d like to thank everyone in this forum for helping me and him, especially when I was fumbling through postings and also his growing pain. Your advices and opinions were so helpful...
Hi, I was wondering is the Dr. Bronner shampoo suitable for doberman skin (especially sensitive ones)? + which variant.
I’ve tried several dog shampoo and even tried to make one but my dog still reacts badly to them (flaky skin). Please do share any experiences with Dr. Bronner shampoo.
Thank...
