What I meant was, people continue to instruct other puppy owners or new dog owners on the importance of socialization of their dogs. Take them everywhere, have strangers give them treats, get them to play with dogs they don’t know ect… this all to the extreme and to the point dogs are over...

That seems a bit small to me. Maybe if the puppy is laying down the entire time. Is the puppy cropped? Just the head and crop will be more that half the height of that carrier. This puppy is 8 weeks probably 7”-8” just head and cup.

This is an older thread that is being commented on. I will say this, I do understand the pet people in Europe are the ones that get effected by these sillly bans. I know multiple trainers and even FCI Judges fro these countries that find ways around the vans to still train their dogs...

Crate training is a must. I would also not do the dog parks. Day care maybe if there are good trainers there. But more than likely I would avoid those as well. Your dog does not need dog friends and that is not what socializing is. There are things that can happen at dog parks and day cares that...

I only use the bridge for the first week or so then I want the ears to learn to stand. I am so onky use one piece of tape at the base and one at the tip to hold the backer rod in. Don’t like all the extra taping of the ear plus makes sure you don’t tape them to right.

We track in the rain 3 times that week but it was more just a light rain to sprinkle. Never tracked in anything that heavy before. Basically standing or running water everywhere. I was proud of his effort though.
