    Queston Les Deux Peupliers

Welcome from Minnesota, USA! We have at least one other member here from Australia @jazzies mum so maybe she has more ideas where you could check. I don't know if you have something like Embark available there but you can do a quick mouth swab to see what your own dogs vWD status is. Unless...

I honestly did not know that but I will be careful of that now.

Whoa~! Rein 'em in here and show your horse! 2026

I've heard a lot of horse owners are doing something equivalent to a dremel for hooves these days but I have mixed feelings about that. I could see that in place of a rasp or file but not to use it for the whole hoof when it involves so many things on a horse.

This is from our neighbor across the swamp riding one of the bike trails with his GWP. This is very near the show site where our summer show is. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1387882829967236

Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2026

A couple ringside photos I bought from the photographer at our show. It was hubby's first time in the ring and I think he did a good job with his girl.

Adult or Puppy food at 12 months?

And that is the main thing since all dogs are different. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. LOL

No photos but early yesterday morning Elroy was trying to let me know he was having tummy troubles. I didn't get up in time so the poor guy had an accident in the kitchen. I cleaned it up and put it in a bag that hubby set outside near the door. He went to take it to the dumpster a couple hours...

Just for fun, since there are so many experienced dobe folk here with other big strong dog history...

I had one in the late 70's and she was a really sweet girl but I got her as a pup and showed her she could trust people. This is one of the two of us from back then when she was about 7 months.

Ears are aligned and they are ready to look convincing to ask to go out and steal apples off the tree.

Another larger breed I have considered is the Berger Picard since I have met quite a few of them and they are gorgeous. But I have heard from a few different people, including our trainer that they are difficult and they shed nearly as much as a GSD.

Part Beauceron where one of the extra dews actually formed into a toe?

    Finally have a frisbee dog!

Fun! I don't think any of our Dobermans have had an interest in the frisbee but our Boxer went wild for them and did some pretty high jumps to catch it.

Common dog breeds from the 80's you don't see anymore?

I still see both and there is a beautiful Silken Windhound that comes to our shows. I agree about the photo of the Irish Setter looking pathetic. We have one lady who comes to the shows from Canada and her dogs are gorgeous.

Common dog breeds from the 80's you don't see anymore?

This was way too long and ad ridden to copy and past but I see most of these breeds all the time; especially the Doberman. LOL...

I got a photo of both breeds at a dog show a few years back. Anatolian in front and Kangal behind Phoebe.
