Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2024

Took Remy downtown. We walked in the park, went to a store and got lunch! Totaled a little over 3 miles.

He’s the king of splooting lol. A lot of the employees stopped to pet him and complement how well behaved he was 🥰.

Waiting until the table while we ate.

Really cool spot where we had lunch, sort of like an outdoor food court. There’s an area with some grass and chairs in the middle too. View attachment 145809
Some pictures of the park. I love that it’s right in the middle of the city.

Can't believe you have such a lovely spot in a city! Beautiful!

More advances today! Went to a sniff spot in the morning, then in the afternoon we went to a nature preserve and stopped at Tractor Supply.

Remy blended in lol.

Screenshot from a video. There are no hills where we live so Remy enjoyed jumping onto and off of these lol.IMG_0723.jpeg
Up in the “birds nest”.

I wanted to let him pick out a new toy but he didn’t seem too interested in anything. Trying to find things he likes since I don’t want to buy stuffed/fabric toys anymore.

Have you tried the GoDog balls or toys?
I have! I bought that rainbow fuzzy ball and he loved it. I only let him play with it supervised, but it lasted a good amount of play sessions before he finally ripped a hole in it. I might just buy another one. He much prefers stuffed toys but I get nervous with them, especially if the squeaker is small.

Just got back from a long walk and I let her outback alone. I peek out every few mins and I see this through the porch. Haha tired girl.

Last day of adventures, we are going home late tonight. Remy did super good in the city and of course loved his time out in the woods! We’re doing a dog show on Saturday so tomorrow will probably be a chill day for him.

Laying and observing lots of people, dogs, bikes, etc… It’s funny walking him in such a busy place because so many people will comment saying “beautiful dog” or “a Doberman!” etc… There was a little girl in a stroller walking next to us for awhile who kept saying she wanted to play with the doggy lol.

Probably the last day to soak up some sun on the deck before the rain comes.
Both relaxing on deck Apr 25 24.JPG

@remy how do you like those Sniff Spots? Have you had generally good experiences with them? Looks like you guys are having a wonderful adventure!!!

@MichiH Rubie does that and I've had neighbors text me... like... Ummmmm is Rubie ok? Lol, yes, just "lizarding."

We're helping watch the neighbors dogs while they're out of town so we brought them over to our yard last night to play with Moo

Chocolate Moose, Mila, Vanilla Moose

Haha lizarding I like that!

Cute pics how fun! Party time!

Draco's "stack" attempt lol.
Featuring his chuck it ball, that's why his mouth's open .
He's no show dog by any means :spit:

And no, he's not fat, he has a lot of LOOSE SKIN (he's 95lbs but his vet says he's in perfect body condition for his frame) which I don't understand? Are they supposed to have that much amount? those rolls you see are just skin, I don't think he's got any more growing left, he's already 2'5 years old.

He's a powerhouse but idk? guess he was meant to be a damn horse but couldn't make it happen lmao.

He’s a handsome young man!

Draco is a good looking Dobe in my opinion. Do you do much physical work with him? Just like humans, just because we aren't overweight doesn't make us look buff. ;) I keep Asha on the slim side, she's active, I train 4 - 5 days a week, we hike several miles a week off leash, and been jumping regularly. This really adds muscle and keeps her flanks tucked up tight.
She also has "handfuls" of extra skin, maybe that's a Dobie thing?

We do a lot of physical exercise, he gets to run and play off leash (with me and other dogs) for 4+ hours a day, plus hikes weekly, tug of war (his passion) everything!.

I mentioned it in a different thread, he wears the tractive GPS and he's the number 2 most active local dog, and is an average of 140% more active than other Dobermans! He does have a lot of muscle, but the loose skin...lol.

She looks great too!

What do you do for jumping? I know I have to wait, but curious.
