Every time I water this little mandevilla flower this little guy jumps out!

And I don't know if it's the same one but this little guy jumped out when I was watering this yellow begonia!



And this blue jay was having a ball in the bird bath! They all do! I just happened to catch this blue jay making waves!

What a face!

This was the bottom portion of a little waterfall fountain that we had. It was really cute with a girl and a boy and a dog. We hadn't used it for years because the wind that we get out here will always blow out the water from the waterfall and the bottom would soon be empty. Burning out the pump. One day a couple of weeks ago when it was so freaking hot out here I thought why not put it out front for some of the wildlife? Just the bottom. Not the fountain. We're out there watering some of the stuff in front anyway so we can keep it filled. We have a bird bath right here by the side of the house that is the favorite spot for the birds. The squirrels don't make it back here as often. There's a big dog that sits by the window that kind of keeps them at Bay.

But I thought having this up front they would get some use out of it. The squirrels and the birds.

One day I was in my office and I saw all the birds! It was great! I was very happy that they were using it!




And then yesterday Annie was barking her head off at something. When I went to go look, it was a squirrel. I was almost ready to open the front door and let her have some fun when I saw him head for the water. Even with her barking and me standing in the window it didn't deter him from taking a drink. So I was glad!
