Critters and wildlife in your area - post your pics

Ahh, forgot.
You’re up in wolf country.
Then again, wolves are expanding.
First wolf in LA county in 90 something years was spotted a month or so ago.
By Pyramid Lake/I-5 south of Bakersfield.
Yes, the "Harvey Pack" is pretty close. We keep an eye on the ranchers cattle around here, when they are here. We are pretty much surrounded by BLM land, and he has the grazing permit for April & May, so this year will be interesting. I've a dozen trail cameras out, and just ordered 6 more off amazon. I'll put them in another area where the cattle like to roam. Here's a map I check every morning and every night to see where the wolves have been. Locations of Gray Wolves in California Put your curser on the marker and it'll tell you what pack, or disperser is there.

What scares them is if you scream, like my husband does when he sees one, screams like a girl
LOL I'm with him since any kind of snake is my huge phobia. We only have garter snakes around here but they still make me scream. I'm fine picking up rats, bats, spiders, mice or anything else like that.

Interesting it doesn’t show the one down by Pyramid lake.
The one in Truckee I can understand as it had gone east into Nevada.

Yes, several packs are not showing, the Ashpan pack, the Diamond Pack, Grizzly Pack, Ishi Pack Lassen pack and Tunnison Pack are all missing from that map. :rage:

Elroy does his big booming bark when the turkeys or fox are out here and the neighbor asked me in the store one day just how big that dog is. LOL
The fox walk up and down the driveway every day but I haven't seen Harold the big tom since the end of October. I hope he comes back in the spring since he was getting really tame.

Kai lost his chit then too
How old is he?
Riley is almost 18 months and as stubborn as they come. I was pretty proud of him being so calm.
We have several ponds on our property so lots of animals visit for a drink. Just don't need a crazy ass dog causing problems with the other residents of our property. We have room enough for all of us so I gotta teach the boy how to share without throwing a fit.

Kai’s 4.6 years old a rehome 6 month covid puppy I renamed him because he didn’t know his name. Almost called him CB for city boy
Then after few days he knew nothing no words or command yeah he was East Indian. Restart like 10 week old in english
