It's great you got her over that hump. Last year they used a straw bale, which is a bit bigger and sturdier. Last year the pool in the background was another thing they had to walk through and some dogs balked at that and our dogs probably would too because I don't have one.
How right you are! Years ago while stacking some hay with my husband I fell off of the stack, flat on my face. I was lucky I didn't break any bones in my face but I had a bad concussion and looked like someone had beat me up! Days later I had a friend call an ambulance for me because I was so dizzy I couldn't get off a chair and didn't know what was happening to me. Three days in the hospital that were complete horror. Yeah. I don't consider hay my friend anymore! LOL
That’s so much fun to do.When she’s off leash if she gets too far ahead she always stops to look back and waits for the “yes, go ahead”. Sometimes I hide to test her and she’ll run back and find me.

Oh my I am so sorry this happened!!! Poor girl. How is she recovering? Do you know who owns those pit bulls? I would absolutely shoot them too if they came back around.
Glad she is ok! And hope you’re doing ok too. I’m so sorry that happened. Definitely smart to be packing now, unfortunately at home.
What a horrifying occurrence! Glad she is doing well and seemingly unbothered. I would be packing, too, after something like that.
