I have to report GoDog ball bit the dust tonight.
I took it for a little since she was in her false pregnancy. Well, apparently she isn’t anymore lol
She made quick work of that! I think my Dobies would probably let one live for quite a while but dang, with Toby in the house, nothing survives! At least he only destroys things that were intended for dogs and not furniture or the like.I have to report GoDog ball bit the dust tonight.
Our GoDog balls aren't very long lived either but these CycleDog balls are still going strong after 2 or 3 weeks. I don't think Elroy would destroy either kind but that's Olive's goal with any toy. LOL

Yes she and Olive have the same goal. Must destroy toy.
Annie too.
I took hers away. I only give it to her if I am there to play with her or at the very least, watch her. Because she'll play for a while, throwing it around and running around with it in her mouth. But if she settles down with it? It's to destroy it.

Last Thursday my husband and I loaded my golf cart up on the trailer to take in for some repairs and tune-ups the next day. Annie was in the barn with us and she jumped right up on the trailer and into my golf cart! Her lack of fear really is surprising and a little refreshing. Nothing against my boy
, but he would have never done that! So when she does something that seems the exact opposite of what we've been used to, it really stands out in your mind. 
I remember trying to walk him through our barn on a leash and he was really intimidated by everything in there. It took some training to get him to ignore the sights and sounds in our barns and be comfortable. That's not to say Annie didn't have a little hesitation the first couple of times. She did. But she quickly got over that! Especially since having horses it's a daily routine going out to the barn. Now she practically tells us at night, it's time to go! My husband always says, "okay let's go get the horses!" And she knows what that means. 
Its actually a little play time for her too! A long time ago we were out in the barn and I was standing on top of this trailer when Annie jumped up with me! Again I was so amazed that she did that! And she was pretty young. I think I took a picture but I can't find it at the moment. If I do I'll post it. It was just so cute that she had no fear and just took a flying leap!
OT but I saw your App. plate and started wondering if golf carts need a license like ATV's do? Just curious since I see them out driving on the streets all the time.
No no that's just a fun little thing I found at a garage sale and put it on my golf cart LOL
I don't know all the laws around here for golf carts, ATV or side by sides . All I know is around here, where you are really off the beaten path and just on side roads, they're driven without anything specific on them. And it's not a real common sight. It's mainly just neighbors going to neighbors. They are never driven on the main highways around here. People are going 65 miles an hour or better there. Not safe.
A license is required on ATVs in this state and you aren't supposed to be on streets or highways, even the shoulder. BUT I see them using them like a car to go all over town and run to stores, etc. The cops see them but don't do anything about it.
I've never seen that here.
Although your town (shopping area) is a lot closer to you and probably some other people. (at least what I've seen on a map) So they might think it's just a hop skip and a jump away so let's just take the ATV.
Most of the people here who even have an ATV are on larger properties that are further out of town. And for those people getting to town is at least 20 minutes by car. Me included. Nobody's going to be driving down that Highway on an ATV or worse, a golf cart, going to town. Traffic moves much too fast and there is really not much of a shoulder to move out of the way.
According to Google, our shopping area is about 43 square miles. I don't know if that encompassing some of the neighborhoods or not but it's a large area of shopping, believe me! It's not a small area and some of the larger highways cut them through it. Nobody would be driving an ATV or golf cart through that kind of traffic. And even the close surrounding neighborhoods
Now, there is a small town just north of us where they do allow golf carts throughout their town. There are some rules and regulations of course but you will see them at the whole town garage sale and when they have their summer entertainment like the amusement park Etc. But it's only in the main part of town. Our son in the same town but in the rural area. So he would have the same problem taking the golf cart or ATV to get to the main part of town and going through some major roads. Too dangerous. And I'm sure not allowed on those main highways.
We're about 10 miles from our shopping area too so there's no way I'd consider taking an ATV that far. Hubby will take it is far as our other property a block or so away but he stays on the gravel shoulder since tar is so hard on the tires.

So just now I was busy doing something in the kitchen and Annie was behind me doing a little whining.
I asked her what she wanted, like most of us probably do and she just gave me a stare. 
I went back to what I was doing and this time she kind of gave a little bark!
I turned around quickly and in a little bit louder voice said, What do you want?! Tell me! What do you want ?? I don't know what you want?
And I swear to you .. she turned her head around and looked up at the counter behind her at this toy! Almost pointing with her nose! Like, " This, you dummy!"
I was like, oh my gosh, nothing like actually answering me!
So I gave it to her.
She's just a blur!
it's not going to last long cuz I can hear her already pulling at it.
So just now I was busy doing something in the kitchen and Annie was behind me doing a little whining.
I asked her what she wanted, like most of us probably do and she just gave me a stare. I went back to what I was doing and this time she kind of gave a little bark!

I get this more often than I would hope to from my dogs, and I always see their point afterwards. When I see it, I always ask myself "what did I miss this time?
