Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2025

Spent tons of time in the backyard, soaking up the sun, today

For the record (I think I've mentioned this before but I know new folks have joined!), I seem to have more pictures of Moose because he's actually my Velcro dog 😂 Rubie is usually off doing her own thing OR I have her leash so I'm taking pictures of Dog Dad with Moose. Rubie is the brown spot in the back of the yard in the top right of the photo!

This is a more intense false pregnancy too. She’s sleepy, needy, mammary glands swollen/ leaking, and a little down. I feel bad for her, but all in all she’s happy to play, hike/walk, and is a cuddly love bug.
I posted a new thread with you & Pepper in mind as well as anyone else experiencing this and planning to spay.

I'm coming!!!! I had to listen to what was going on in the woods....may have required me to stand tall!
@JanS I think Elroy's face is hilarious in that photo....almost saying "NOW where am I supposed to put my head?"

I was admittedly a little cross and made Asha down on her bed NOW because she was being wild and wooly... I stood in front of her bed and said Platz-NOW! and she slams herself down with her feet on top of mine and barked at me "how's this?" I pretty much cracked up laughing and had to take a photo but missed the defiant look by a few seconds. I love her to pieces even when she's being a challenge.

Her feet lol

Really neat place we can walk to it’s part of the state park. I let her off leash once we got down the rocks because she would jump
off…she then became really alert and I’ve learned to trust her, leashed her up and what do you know 2 off leash dogs. Of course one runs to her I yell she doesn’t like other dogs, well my dog does, so I had to block her off. Pepper lately is coming into her own she got super aggressive and lunged at this dog. The dog got it and backed off. I’m proud of her really because she’s fine unless she’s approached by random dogs and I think that’s appropriate. She used to be so meek and shy it makes me proud to see her becoming so confident and brave. IMG_8292.webpIMG_8287.webpIMG_8292.webpIMG_8295.webp

What are you taking these on? The action shots are so clear.

iPhone 15 maybe? Lol and thank you! I am a bit obsessed with taking photos of Pepper 😆😃
So what I typically do is use portrait to get the photos really clear and sharp. Action shots are harder because portrait needs to focus.

Someone told me the other day I spend too much time with my dog. Offense taken. That’s why I got her to be my bff 👯 and I rather be with her so 🤷‍♀️ haha
