The trick titles are so fun! I did those with Ripley when she was a puppy for something to do during the winter while I was continuing to work on her obedience. I highly recommend them to anyone! You can do them virtually too.

May be hard to tell thanks to my crappy camera skills but this has got to be at least a 4 foot jump, pretty much straight up with no running start.

Not really content with that so -

Baby steps till we get to 5 foot jumps!

I honestly thought I left enough of that picture uncropped so that people could see that was at best a 16" jump!

Poor Dystopia would not even consider trying anything more than 2 or 3 feet high due to her weight.

We are working on the weight stuff though and WILL be getting to where they need to be soon!

When I got back home after a long while away on holiday there were two little kittens hiding in a log. Either abandoned by their feral mother or more likely dumped. Being tiny I thought they wouldn't survive and I think one did die, leaving the other alone. Well, that kitten started crying in the most desolate way and I. Just. Couldn't. Stand. It! Out I went with a torch to try to find it and left a little food. Three days later he had found a safe spot very close, which caused a lot of barking from Jazz and I had to have her on her tether all the time. Here he is having decided humans were really ok and good for food and cuddles!
Cats are a real problem where I live and I am away from home for so much of the time that I had to hand him in to our local animal control.
At least the rangers really liked him and he climbed up and snuggled into necks and purred, so putting his best foot forward for a loving home. Only 4 weeks old!
