We are in the "chilly nights" time of year. Those who deal with snow will laugh, but Jazz and I don't appreciate the cold! The good old campfire gets kicked into life in the morning and must be alight before Jazz will get out of bed! :rofl:IMG_20220620_074643_962.jpg
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all at Doberman Chat for being so accepting, especially of mixed breed Dobies. I finally signed on with FB, (for other reasons), and found an Australian Doberman group. I just read and enjoy the pics and photos but recently a couple of people posted pics of their part Dobermans. Some of the comments made it very clear that unless it's a purebred they needn't bother contributing! I don't think it was the moderators, but nevertheless it leaves a bad taste.

For a second I thought it was you sitting there and started scanning the image to see where Jazz was haha. She loves the campfire just like a person! Feel free to show her off from the front too. (Sorry to hear about the idiots on that FB group!)

I started with Lab mixes when I was a boy. I had purebred Dobies for decades before I became a 4H leader. That really broadened my horizons, as I had to teach a little girl with a Beagle mix Obedience, a Heinz 57 owner showmanship as well as the few purebred dogs that were in the club. As a judge, I see the whole gamut of dog breeds and mixes. One thing they all have in common is the dogs love their owners and the owners love their dogs. That's what it's all about.

So happy to see your camping photos again! So sorry about the bad experience on the internet. As you know, there's plenty of good folks out here in cyberspace too!

That's why I totally avoid those entitled elitist FB groups who think they're better than everyone else. It's easy to hide behind a keyboard and be a self proclaimed expert.

Phoebe going for some training at Lowe's yesterday being incognito in the vehicle. LOL

@jazzies mum, Thank you for being here! I love seeing and reading your posts and look forward to them every time. They contribute so many genuine qualities that are way more important than anything that may cause division.

Fierce Doberman getting nails trimmed
To this day I cannot put Asha on her back. Even as a puppy she never slept on her back with her feet up. It's on my list to train it like a "trick" so I can convince her it's ok. She will absolutely come uncorked, no matter how gently I try to roll her.

Busy day for these guys!
OMG that yellow "sofa". What a great photo op that could turn into!!! I'm imagining a lounging Rubie all stretched out on that.

@jazzies mum, yes it’s been rather warm. We’re in the South West and it’s been a little cooler. London and surrounding areas had the hottest forecast.
It’s been wonderful to spend good quality time outside without getting soaked for a change 🤣

Amidst the glorious weather, my work enjoyed the annual carnival event….

Luna (work dog) was included in the Carnival and had a ride on the float. She was so good.

We came 1st and that’s me collecting our prize.

:congrats: Great moustache on "snail mail"! :spit:

Oh my goodness. Here's a picture that popped up on my FB page.....
Sassy @ 12 1/2 wks. This little girl was a spitfire. She was waiting for her family to come and pick her up. Her ears weren't posted because she'd just had a bath and I wanted to show her new owners how to post her ears.
