I tried to take a selfie with AJ.

Eleven and a half year old Anna gave me a bad scare over a month ago. She laid down, refused to get up and wouldn't eat. I even dug her grave. But she has bad arthritis and is now on Rimadyl, glucosamine and chondritin. She had a slightly high white blood cell count and was given Clindamycin and has to have a CBC when it's finished. She's moving normally and gaining weight.

We walk the perimeters of these six fields. It's more than three miles. We have to go back to the parks and long line because the crops are coming up. I'm glad the farmer planted late. We won't be back until hunting season is done next spring.

I'm so glad the sweet girl is feeling better!

A trip to the campgrounds. Sometimes, when not engaging in pacing about and whining, Oji likes to stick his face in this little window there in the back of the car. Nose squished, his mouth parts slightly over and over as he pants. I thought the blaze orange collar (recognize it, @JanS ?) would maybe be useful for seeing him in low light. He kind of looked the part out there at the campsite.

Yup that's mosquitoes. I guess it's one of the few benefits of you living in desert like conditions.
Wondercide. Even if you use Nexguard, Heartworm meds, etc. I still spray them to keep them off my dog. Here it's mostly gnats. Very annoying and I can't stand to see them on my animals.

My coworker just got some of that but she got the stuff to spray in the yard. Being surrounded by woods I'm not sure how well the yard stuff would work.
I use both. I spray my dog and once in awhile I spray the yard with the yard concentrate. Just around my house and barn. I have lots of woods too, not as much as you but the idea is to spray so many feet from your home/barn. I haven't done it yet this year but I have also sprayed inside my horse stalls. But I think the idea of spraying a dog is the same as us putting on mosquito spray in the middle of the woods. It's to keep them off of you regardless of how many are around you. It's worth a try.😁
