We had Ripley with us all week but now we are boarding her for two nights so we can celebrate our anniversary without being worried about her care and needs. I teared up a little. She will get multiple walks a day and one on one time with staff throughout the day. Tomorrow she will get some supervised playtime with others. They have staff there 24/7 that have been certified in pet cpr and animal behavior and there is an emergency vet clinic right next door. I can watch her room as much as I want live...I think she's doing just fine LOL.

2. I lost my male ‘Bogie’ last oct. to lymphoma. He was only 4yrs. Bacall is his littermate.

I am glad I have never lost a dog...although, I have lost several puppies! I know how it felt though when my macaw died, and later when my ringneck died.

Anna's littermate brother died unexpectedly this afternoon. He wasn't ill or showing signs of anything wrong. They're 10. I call 9 the Unhappy Birthday because every day after 9 is a gift.
