Anyone else love seeing their dobies interact with kids? My boy absolutely loves my nieces and nephews. This particular niece had a bad experience with dogs when she was toddler. When I first got Jasper- even as a tiny puppy- he terrified her. But now with time and guidance, she always asks me where Jasper is. She even plays tug with him (always supervised obviously).

I took Moo to Rat Class last night and let Rubie stay home because she had a busy weekend and pushing her too much makes her uninterested. I don't know if she was a little bummed to be left behind or extremely grateful. Either way, I sat on the couch when I got home and ended up with a 'dead bug' Dobe :D

AJ smoking his stogie!

It's a toothbrush holder he retrieved from the stanchion behind him. It's Velcro'd to the stanchion and has a piece of cheese in it which is his reward.

I'm training him for Directed Jumping and the exercise begins with him running to the stanchion, turning and sitting.

My Kobe loves kids he will stop in his tracks if he hears kids playing laughing or shrieking and when he’s face-to-face with them he is so gentle and nice! He learned it or it’s just instinctual for him I never had to train him with little kids. Of course I would never leave him alone or unsupervised.

That’s so funny that’s what we call the cockroach position

Been very stressed lately. My father won’t be around much longer and I am trying to plan my wedding in a two month time frame so he can be there. Im sure this stress affects Jasper. He has been such a good boy with his support.

Just cut the grass, and went out to get him a new toy. He is keeping himself occupied.
