I wish they still had air show at this airport since they used to always fly directly over our house and make a loop here. The Blue Angels did stop here a couple years ago to fuel up but I wasn't working at this airport yet.

They do the Air and Water show downtown Chicago at Navy Pier the 3rd week of August. I've actually never gone but it looks amazing!

I was mopping my floor when I noticed Kali growling and softly barking at something. I thought it was the Halloween ghost that I placed right outside the patio door. I grabbed my phone for a little video because I thought it was kind of funny. But the joke was on me! She was actually barking about something else! She is my little Hunter!

Yesterday it rained until almost noon! And it was cold! So I fed the horses inside, waiting for the rain to subside so I can let them out. Then they can go under the cover of their run-in if they choose. Otherwise they would be standing in the rain while they eat, getting soaking wet. Nobody likes to be wet when it's 33° :wideyed:

I will always be greeted when I walk into the barn! Especially when they've been cooped up for hours. And sometimes I can surprise them when they don't hear me walking in because of the noise of the rain on the roof.:D

My gelding, Stilts, learned how to open his stall door a long time ago. IF it is unlocked, that is. I always make sure it is! :thumbsup2: In the morning I open it to give him his grain, close it again and just listen for him as I am gettingout their hay. ;) I can always hear him if he is trying and I get back to him before he makes it out.

This morning I heard him (which just means he's finished his grain and wants out!) and I closed it again to catch a video.

Smarty Pants! :p

One day I wasn't paying attention and I thought I heard something. Next thing I know, he's behind me like, Whassup?!? Silly Boy!

Omg that is great. He just shoves that stall door right on open AND he moves his grain bucket!!
I love it!!
