No more crate....

Sounds like you might be his BFF...:thumbsup2:
Well , i train him , i feed him , i walk him, i pet him, i love him:biggrin: all his routine since his first time arrival by now, associated with me)) he know already when i back is going to be activity, fun, food, plays, cuddly time:woot2:that why i guess he is sleeping until i back not even asking to go out for potty ,even my husband sometimes at home but another room.I m working 8 hours , but all my morning/ evening time i m with him.

That's awesome news! The other dog probably helps keep him in line.
Maybe by temper, yes, coz my oldest dog very calm most of the time:) but in the day time they mostly separate as the older one stay with my HB in the other room , while the Rocky is in the living room. But it is only when my husband is home , otherwise they both in living room, alone but nothing never happen, they maybe playing during a day , but when we back no sing of worries there, everybody alive:D )))They play together and Rocky is so gentle with him as much as he can of coz, but more then the oldest one who jump on him, nip him, seems so brave:woot2::woot2::woot2:it is so funny, i wish i can post some video here, to show it.

@Rocky2017 ... I might suggest your HB remain a part of feeding and walking...in the long term it will prove to be positive.
Yes, for sure i m totally agreed, and he sometimes (like few time in the week) walk him at night when he back from work , as he back very late after 12 am, and IF i ask him he can feed him BUT unfortunately for me, Rocky is my dream /my responsibility all the time , kids are busy with a high school staff, husband not the person to be involve too much with a dog's routine so.....

I can’t post a video but at least some photos how my Doberman was attacked /hug by shi tzy:)))))

How cute! Rocky isn't even standing up. That's sweet of him.

Videos need to be uploaded to YouTube first. You don't have to share them publicly on YouTube though. Mine are limited to be seen only where I post a link.

No you don't need an account, but they may ask you to sign in, via FB , tweeter, etc... do so, it commits you to nothing. Once you've post a video, you can click on you icon/screen name, upper right corner of the main YouTube screen and a menu drop down appears, click on my channel to see your videos...To post one here, simply high light the http:// field and copy link and paste in here in the commit section...I think that will do it. :)

I'm sitting it the living room, listening to music and I hear the crate rattle in the bed room, I'm thinking Grace got up and plunked back down with a boom!...Then I hear the the Princess of Chaos walking through the house!!! Jail Break??? Indeed it was...She's so smart, only took a year to figure out the mechanism...

What type of mechanism do you got on your crate?

Oddly yesterday Rex started to refuse to go in his crate and has started making a huge fuss when I put him in. Yesterday after we went to the baseball fields we all got in bed and took a nap and in the evening we usually crate him at 11pm but we fell asleep and I woke up at 130Am. Tried to take him potty and he got mad and when we cameback in he jumped on the bed and did his “dead weight” literally refused to get up. I had to carry him and put him in his crate. He also did the dead weight thing today multiple times. I’ve caught him also trying to open the latches.

I use the steel crate with 2 doors. The door handles lay flat and when you open the crate you left to a 45' angle and slide over...I guess I'll need to find my little bungee cord I had with the Twin Doxies, they were good, they found out how to escape real quick. LOL....Smart Dogs, these Dobes

Yes they are very smart! Rex manipulated me all weekend, Saturday we all fell asleep on the bed and I woke up at like 130 in the morning. He was passed out on the bed. I woke him and brought him potty, put him in the crate. 4am rolls around I hear the “potty whines” I’m like “NOOOOOO REALLY?!?” I opened his crate to bring him outside, he bolted off into the bed and went under the covers lol. Didn’t have to potty at all. Then he faked an injury to avoid being moved from the bed on Sunday -__- lol.

Grace is good at the double clutch fake out...She forgets I've been playing ball for a long time and head fakes are not going to get her to the hoop!...but we still play the game and once in a while I'll let her score..ahahahahaha.....

He’s figured out my new work schedule and has started the “I’m gonna hold my poo in as long as I can to prevent you from going to work” phase. He was literally crowning outside and refusing to go spent 3x longer than normal to potty -__- he was doing this to me a few months ago when I had class too. Lol

When Grace starts acting like she knows it all....I start changing everyone...eating times, sleeping times, training/play times...
By inverting or mixing up the activities...makes it more fun.

Hahah, if only I had the time. He’s on a set schedule. First feeding at 430am. Hangout time 630am-730am with mom. Potty break at 730am. Next potty break at 12pm. Potty break at 5pm. Feeding immediately after. 1 hour nap. 6pm-10p training, free time hang out time. Weekends change but work doesn’t give me weekday flexibility.
