SNOW

Yes, my Dobermans have really liked snow in terms of romping and playing or going for a run. There are times though when they're not excited and you see them, when they initially walk outside, walking gingerly and as though they are annoyed by it.

My little guy isn't too sure about it yet. He runs up to the door wanting back inside lol. Then once we are inside he runs super fast from room to room, dives on to the couch and jumps back down to the floor, takes off running again, then he stops, front legs spread way apart, head down and butt up in the air... tail going a thousand miles a minute! Just to take off running and do it all over again lol. :wacky: I can't wait to take him outside when we get a lot of snow!

We call that getting the rips. Hahaha

We're in Seattle so we only see a bit of snow every few years. Pretzel wanted no part of it at first, but when he started playing in it he became a believer :)
I love seeing pups get the rips in snow. It's a hoot. The first time my horse saw snow was pretty dramatic behavior, running, snorting, bucking. Hahaha
