52 Week Dog Photo Challenge - 2016

Since we started a little late last year, I thought I'd start a new one now so the weeks are on schedule.
Some may be repeats from last year, but after a whole year has gone by things change even with the same theme.

I'll post a new theme every Sunday and it's up to you to take a photo in the next week to fit the theme. If you can't take a new photo to match on any given week, or you can use an older one if you wish . Themes will run Sunday's - Saturdays with a new theme given every Sunday to go for a week.
You may post one photo of each of your dogs, or them together, with a max of 3 photos per week.

Week 1 - Beginnings

We brought Buddy home at 7 months of age and he showed us his love for blankets right away!


They are still his favorite!

The story is better than the picture. We try to keep 2 Dobie's. A male and a female. Way back when Duchess and Zauber used to play tug of war with everything. We lost Duch and got Greta. Zauber taught Greta how to play tug of war. We lost Zauber and got Indie and you guessed it. But when we lost Greta and got Stella, Indie tried and tried but Stella would not play. We thought the tradition ended. Exit Indie, enter Gus and this is Stella teaching him tug of war. She didn't want to play it with Indie but she knew it's her job to teach Gus everything she knows and she knows how to play tug of war.

Week one: BEGINNINGS.

Archer quickly wiggled his way into my arms. Pictured at 8 weeks.


Aria at 8 weeks. We went to our breeder's for the grading of the puppies. She had just been graded and we had just found out she would be ours!
