I agree with Jan. If G. is playing hard and then drinking fast she'll make a spill but she's gotten much better about it.

LOL, yes it does but it also depends on the dog. Atticus is 2 and still carries it with him after a drink.

Ares must've been in a bit of a hurry after finishing his drink there! And socks: One day I hope to have all one kind of sock. I feel too much of my life is wasted trying to find matches.

My floor always looks like the water bowl was just dumped over after The Doctor gets finished. I have taken to keeping just a little at a time in there and he has to ask for more. It is ridiculous.
Oh yes. That's what we do. It started with my monitoring his water intake as a young pup. We still do it today – he asks for water, and I don't put an excess of water in the bowl.
Every once in a while he finished all the water in the bowl, and that's when he leaves almost no mess. So pleasing!
Not an interesting shape, but Oji drowned this poor beetle after I swatted it from the air while Oji was drinking.

With Oji, it's rarely a saunter. It's a quick trot. Gotta reengage the world. Can't miss anything! Gotta go look out the window and find something to bark at.
Same with him pooing. Often he can't finish the poo before he runs off and trails it along.
