Hubby on his portion of the couch to read the paper and watch the news. If he told them to move they would, but he hates to disturb them if they're tired. I would make them because they'll go right back to sleep anyway... LOL

Oh Jan,..this pic really strikes a familiar chord! Crutch regularly takes his half out of the middle, so you have to pick up the back legs, wiggle in under them, then sit down and hold them. If ever randomly you do rial him from his spazmatic slumber, just know a little pat on the butt and he's gone again.

Aren't they amazing?! And their feet are HUGE! I can't imagine a farrier putting on shoes! lol

I am so fascinate by them. There some kept at the brewery and more kept at Grant's Farm which used to be the Busch family mansion. The clydesdales come to big events in the St. Louis area, parades, sporting events, bbq festivals, you name it. There is also a ranch called Warm Springs, close to Columbia, MO where they are bred and trained. You can go there and watch the whole process. All of that is pretty cool, but the biggie is watching them hooked up and and pulling the wagon. I went to Busch stadium one year when a little boy's Make-A-Wish came true. He wanted to ride on the wagon around the stadium on opening day. That was the best yet.
This should give you an idea how big their feet are...
