Zara asking DC members for prayers and positive thoughts.

She wanted to be back to normal.

But she slipped on the kitchen floor this morning and opened up the incision where the mass was. Had to re-visit the vet (in a snow storm) for a couple of sutures. Our vet said it could take 2-3 weeks to heal. :pullhair: :pullhair: No steps, no jumping and no running or playing. :pullhair:
The incision is just in a very bad place near the elbow which moves all the time. On total lock down now in her crate.

I'm glad I have more Bourbon.
They are so enthusiastic it’s hard to keep them down for long. Definitely time for :martini:

Oh boy you didn't need a setback but prayers are sent for a quick recovery now. It's not easy keeping these dogs down.

:groan: Its hard even for humans! For a dog that doesn't understand it's worse. Going to be a tough go but you'll get through it! She needs a couple of kids to read a story to her while she rests. Keep her company. 😉

@strykerdobe how is Zara doing overall?

Did want to pop in here and mention I did have Rubie's lump aspirated (same looking lump in the exact same area as Zara's) and it came back as lipoma. Thank you, @strykerdobe for sharing your experience and making me ask to make sure that what the vet thought was the case ❤️

Glad Rubie's was only a Lipoma.

Zara is doing great all healed and back to normal rough housing.
Boosting her Vit. D levels and giving her immune boosting supplements.
Our Integrative Vet checked her Vit D level and it was low. Lots of cancer patients their Vit D levels are low. Vit D is very important for the immune system.
Just have to watch the area if anything grows back.
It was just in a bad spot near a movable joint.
