Your favorite online pet supply shops

I like the site. I should sit down and make a list of things I want to order from you in the future, lol. I love the first picture on your webpage. Great choice. :) Who wrote your bio page? I absolutely love the SchH write up.
Jess,
I wrote the schutzhund excerpt though much of the info came from the DVG website's explanation of the sport.
As for the bio page, My wife actually wrote that for me, some time ago.

and remember guys, I can custom make almost anything you want. I do lots of leather work and if I cant make it personally, I can have it made by my saddlery that I purchase my leather from.
so no matter what you want. I can get it for you.
I also make the heeling sticks, I just have to get a pic of one up. the difference is that I use a wooden rod with the handle, vs the fiberglass, I have never really been a fan of the fiberglass shaft.

since we are discussing equipment, I wanted to share a picture of my personal training wall that I built to work the dogs on the 6ft wall. It is fully to standard in every aspect except the width, it is 6 inches short in the width, I just didnt want to add another piece of plywood, and plus I use it to help increase their targeting on the wall.
It was funny, once I finished building it, I took the shepherd out and had her try it out, as she is strong on the wall. The doberboy who has never done the wall yet, was watching and decided he wanted to do it, and so he started going over it with no problem at all. They are just so smart arent they. LOL

I try to buy local when I can. Max200 used to be close to me, but moved to upstate NY. They go to some shows and you can arrange for pickup at a show to save shipping costs.

Cherrybrook goes to dog shows in the northeast (which is how they got started), has a website and has three stores in NJ, their warehouse and one of the stores is near me. They support and sponsor dog events such as the Bark in the Park night for the Somerset Patriots baseball team.

Jess, the specs for building the jump and wall are up on my site, on the schutzhund page.
as for a supply list, I am working on that, but all you have to do is tell me what you want
and I can tell you if I can do it or not, I make most orders custom to order, so its pretty easy to do.

we make jute tug toys... I sell them on ebay... have for some time now.
but I buy my dog supplies at Amazon as an amazon prime member I get two day shipping free... most of the time Amazon is cheaper than Ebay and everywhere else.
I also buy dog treats from one supplier who is local and how makes all her own treats from prime meat suppliers.. all her beef treats are from grass fed beef...
she has www.redangelbordeaux.com
She has such outstanding quality items and long lasting treats!
I also get cool clothing and stuff from www.motleymutt.com

Where do you get your wholesale jute from, I need a supplier for it to make sleeve covers

I have never really bought online other than from here
a couple of shirts and decals. If I ever do buy dog
equipment it will be from Dale I am sure..........

You're lucky Nancy. I try to support our local shop as much as I can, but they just don't keep stuff in stock, so I wind up ordering it. I told the manager a few weeks ago that they're losing a lot of money just off me when I wind up ordering all of this stuff that they could/should be selling, like parrot food, fish food, dog food, hardware for the aquarium, etc. :shakinghead:

Howdy Dale:
I found only Jute straps which we used to make the bite sticks, tugs and pillow's... could not find heavy duty woven Jute fabric at all.
but I found this ripstop fabric that was bulletproof basically and lined all my tug toys with it and made them basically indestructible.... the jute tears and shreds, but the stuffing never comes out and they love the toys all that much more because they are 'shaggy' from shredding the jute, but I can use them for months and months because the ripstop keeps the entire thing together and all the stuffing inside... Gemma has not been able to rip through the ripstop on ANY Of the toys she has. I have shredded looking tugs that are still as useful and serviceable as when they were new...
crazy stuff!

Dale you should post this info in the DIY section too so we have it for reference.

Thanks DG (Eric), That was exactly my intention going into this, was to provide the same if not better quality training supplies, that you can get standard or custom made, and at a much cheaper price than what you find any where else.
Now if I can just get it to blow up like some of the big names. :pkg:

Dale:
I have a big roll of jute strapping if you want to buy it?
I am NO longer making any toys... I have moved on to other things... the roll of Jute I would be happy to sell you for $25 plus shipping of $10.50 for a flat rate box.. I paid about $.65/yard and I have 50 yards of it on this roll...
