Training balance for future kayaking

Rollo 4m. After mastering walking on stationary logs, I decided it was time for some water work. Found a log floating in shallow water (about a foot deep). Followed me out on the log, we got a roll on the turn around, but he recovered nicely! We celebrated by running through the water on the shore and making sure it was some solid fun so he would do it again

Well, since we live on small remote island and surrounded by water in a rainforest where it rains constantly, I don't use any glue on his ears, I just moleskin, with papertape and sometimes the guardtex over that if we're going to go run through the brush in the forest just to protect his ears from scrapes. I'm not worried about his ears getting wet, easy to change on the daily, nothing is sitting in the bell of his ears either. He's been swimming already, and he's retrieving the frisbee in water.
