The hardest part to teach is to do it calmly. Honestly I never thought Rumor could do it in public for me. I didn't want her breaking someone else's door.
Now she has discovered the button to open doors, great invention, except when your service dog thinks they're a toy.
He will, I have no doubt. Rumor just turned 3 and is calming down nicely. She still struggles with controlling herself in certain situations but I find giving her lots of physical and mental stimulation before she works help tremendously. I'm hoping we have found the balance between wearing her down a bit without building stamina, tough line to walk.
