In other words, Purina has had bug issues for at least six years with no action taken by regulatory authorities.

We also found numerous reports of sick pets that consumed Purina Pet Foods in the newly received FOIA documents, such as this one…

First....

This is so odd to me. Purina is a wonderful company in so many other ways. They have been voted one of the top companies to work for many years. They have a great dog training program that they call "The Incrediable Dog Team" that travels the country inspiring thousands to train their dogs so they can can good k9 citizens. They also work with rescues and help the troubled animals overcome behavior problems so they can be adopted. They also have an amazing event center that holds just about any aniamal event you can imagine.
Why can't they make a decent dog food?
I don't mean to make this political but I think it has to be said, I think we need to question what FDA approval means.

Remember they are owned by Nestle
Damn candy companies trying to jump on the pet industry bandwagon to make lots of dollars. I've been boycotting Mars for years after buying out most of the emergency vet services so you have go to BP and pay a ridiculous price instead, not to mention buying out a bunch of dog food companies.
