Sky's Pickup & Arrival... Finally !!!

I can't stop giving Altobello props for how she was trained, she knows the basics and is almost completely trained to do her business outside, a few slips here and there cause she needs to learn to give a sign when she needs to go but most of the time we can easily spot when she needs to go. She wasn't afraid of Joy at all when they first met, she recognized something in Joy I'm guessing because she wasn't impressed at all, she was just acting like it was the most normal thing in the world. I know for a fact she's trained because of the way she walks on the leash, she is focused on the "handler" and when I stand still she sits next to me, typical showring behavior so I think Altobello set the ground work for that.

Today Joy & Sky started playing together, she is quick on picking up Joy's playing habits. We have this game where Joy hangs on to her floss and I pull it as hard as I can to see who holds on the longest, Sky went in, grabbed the floss and started pulling and this went great. They are also sharing toys, I can't believe how Joy is such a good sport about it. Joy barks at Sky to make it clear that it's Joy's turn to chew on something and when she's ready she lets Sky pick it up, no problems what so ever.

Sky's getting used to the boundaries we've set in the house, the first few days we made sure we would hide our shoes but now we leave them and when she tries to grab them we warn her and put a toy infront of her and she accepts it.

Tomorrow will be her first day out with Joy, I don't think she's ready to walk offleash but we'll see how it goes. We've planned a day out in the forest and we're planning to make lots of pictures.
