(It was really hot and humid this evening) but Stavros starting to learn recall outside a few weeks ago!
I think he is the earliest I have started teaching recall outside. The other dogs definitely help. So does the heavy long line LOL. Ive already been working on it inside but wanted to try something different for outside. I figure if off leash isn't a novelty, it won't be seen as abnormal if he ever gets off leash by mistake. Sorta like the super strict parents that try and prevent their kids from listening to heavy metal, if you try to keep it out of reach they are going to want it that much more

Stassi does this also, after she comes to a stop from her full speed side body slide. LolIf Rubie gets a bit soggy whilst being outside, she RUNS upstairs and does this (shower running in the background!):
