This boy loves the pool and his balls so much even if the weather is cool.
If no one will throw the ball for him he will drop it in the pool then jump in after it. He is addicted to swimming.:D

He needs to teach Rubie a thing or two!

God this is so cute! He's so excited for it! And then there is Bacall, it's as if she's excited on his behalf lol, but won't get in to join in on the fun.

Rubie is the same way with water. She'll "let" Moo retrieve it for her and be super excited for him :woot2: Moo waits to ambush Rubie when she's going out far for a ball. Playing to each other's strengths

Bacall loves the ocean and swimming but she can run into the water and slowly swim out to over her head. It’s the jumping in and immediately going over her head that she hates.
Bogie doesn’t care how deep the water is or how high he has to jump from, he is just plain obsessed with the water. Lol

I wonder if it was this thread that made me dream I fell off a high cliff last night. It was into a big body of water and I was trying to brace myself since it was so high but when I landed it was only a couple inches deep and I didn't get hurt at all. LOL Of course if that were real life it would have been just the opposite to land in shallow water from that high, but I guess I can do what I want in my dreams. :D

These video's are kinda fun - even Rubie appears to be enjoying herself!

This one is better if you watch with sound!

Moo is choking up on that rope, Rubie has no need since she has a Doberman grip.:D

I think Bacall would be like Moose in the snow (loving it) and Bogie would be like Rubie. He would want to go inside after he managed to take the rope away. :spit:

This is the most time Rubie has voluntarily spent in the snow. I think she saw Moo having fun ;)

I was going to say this too. It's like she is just holding it for Moo's entertainment.

And yes! She "let's" him get a better grip so they can tug. He is REALLY growing on her - dare I say... she ENJOYS having him around :spit:

I finally got around to uploading this one of little dogs doing lure course last fall. Wow that took about 3 hours when it's HD.
Sorry for being all over the place but I couldn't see what I was doing at all with the glare on the screen.

Family play with Ragnar. I warn them that they are not quick enough for him and somebody will get a Doberman punch to the gut but the love to play with him.

That tree setup is just awesome. Playing tug with a Doberman, they don't make it easy do they? I think that is the loudest squeaker I've ever heard! Have you tried the Jolly egg or Jolly ball? You have tons of room for that!

Is jazz over 18 months yet? If not, you'll want to wait until then to try this!
Yeah, Oji displayed this behavior on his own volition quite early on. He would literally jump up and down like that when I brought out a bowl of kibble. I knew he was too young to do it very much or very often so I let it be a once in a while thing; but I did turn it into a trained behavior and he is more than willing to do it nowadays.
