I started teaching Remy “orbit” over the weekend. We train every night with his dinner and I’ve been wanting to do some new things. He’s also learning “bow”. Considering it’s only been a few days, he’s actually doing better than I thought he would lol. (The first few clips aren’t the trick, just moving backwards with me, versus around me like for “orbit”.) I sped up the clips a little and of course needed a matching song 🤣.

A couple of times I found Annie mouthing her calming bed. I'm starting to think I might have another sucker! Buddy was a sucker and I always had blankets that were just his so he wouldn't try it on anything else. So I wouldn't be surprised since a lot of Doberman seem to do it.

But to discourage her from mouthing her bed, I gave her a baby receiving blanket. Just to see what she would do with it. I was sitting on my phone and turned around to see her playing with the blanket. But of course every time I looked at her she would stop. 😐 So I put my phone in selfie mode and took this video over my shoulder. 😉 It's a little long, about 2 minutes, but it's pretty cute. She was having a great time!

Every time I try and open the video, it brings me to the Play Store to download the app. :groan:I don't have Tick Tock but I've played a lot of them from Tick Tock. I don't know why it won't play and I really want to see it. :tap:

That really is cute and I love the little Doberwoo she gives towards the end! Also great that she can amuse herself for a while without bringing her blankie to you so you can "help".

I love all the stages of puppyhood but Lordy this is one of my favorites!
I love the little Doberwoo
I just love the new nouns we come up with here that start with "Dober" I'm adding Doberwoo to the list along with Dobersnuggle, and Dobergirl.

I had my three grandsons for a few hours yesterday. She's crazy about them! Play toys, you know! 😉 They love to run and have her chase them. It's good, fun exercise for both of them. The oldest in the red shirt is 13 and loves to run. Sometimes he'll just run around the fence line by himself.

I told him go out there and run Annie around a little. She still doesn't catch up to him at least on the short spurts. He'd like to take her all the way around the pasture but I was afraid she would get distracted and get away from him. We only had a short street leash on her for something to grab. Plus it's a long way and I don't know, she might get tired! LOL

In the first video she's playing with the leash all by herself. And I had said something about if she ever started to get distracted all you have to do is run in the opposite direction and she'll chase you. That's when the youngest grandson took off up the stairs into the house! Annie saw him and took off like a bullet after him. :sonic:

The second video is the oldest grandson taking her for a run. Of course all of them had to try it. But I only uploaded this one. 😁

I just went to my grandma’s to trim her dog’s nails and do some training with him. It seems like the last few times I’ve gone there Remy is very interested in her dog’s (male) scent. Usually he’ll follow me around sniffing me, which he did today, but then he started licking my arm and chattering his teeth… 😂 It was so loud that I had to take a video, then make him stop because he’s gross lol.

This was back on July 10th. I sent it to my daughter to show her my little psycho puppy! 🤣 Watching it again I thought I should post it here! It's pretty funny. She just never stopped. I have another one from tonight that I need to post that's pretty funny too. She does keep us entertained, that's for sure!

Last night I had a problem with my golf cart and we decided to leave it where it's stalled instead of towing it back inside.

Well, as dawn was breaking and she could see, Miss Observant was looking out the window and saw it! And, holy good God, she put up a ruckus! It took at least 5 minutes or more to calm her down!

In fact, 20 minutes later she is going back and forth to the window growling and lightly barking still!
If anything, she is very observant. Reminds me of the horses and myself actually. I can always tell when something is different out there and so can the horses. She just knew that wasn't supposed to be there. Something was off. Good Watch Dog! 🐕
