I was wondering too. Rhodies are such cool dogs IMHO. But oddly gentle in my experience, limited as it was, for how big they are with that typically direct look checking you out.
@GennyB @jazzies mum and others with rescue experience, a question, dog nerdy, but hey why not:
I remember when the buzzword was "guest dog for two weeks".
Now its 3-3-3, 3 months before they really settle in.
How has that compared to your experience in toto, a generalization with understanding that every dog is an individual?

Too early to tell with Clancy. He that long travel with days in the car. I would say by second day home he had made his yard his own and his personality had been released! I'm guessing it will be at least a year before he has progressed to a well socialised and well trained, fairly confident dog.
