Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2026

Remy and I showed in UKC this weekend. He won Best of Breed in 3 of the 4 shows. He also won the Guardian group which earned him half a leg towards his GCH! I brought my 3 year old niece along to show in the Pee Wee juniors class. This was her second dog show, but the first she got to participate in.

There wasn’t much video where you could see Remy stacked, so this is all I have from the show. There was a photographer there though, so I’m hoping to get some pictures from her!

I had a graduation to attend today that involved a road trip and late hours, so Katyusha and Zastava went to stay with Katyusha's flop eared littermate (Squid, the red one) and full sister from the next litter (Karen, the black one). Owner of Squid and Karen reported "I love that you can't tell by the group's behavior that they don't live here". I will go and pick them up in the morning. It sure is strange walking into my house without that Doberman greeting energy being present. It will be even more strange going to bed and waking up without them. But I know they are having a great time. Screenshot_20260604_193937_Snapchat.webp

We board the dogs when we have our annual Derby Party just because it's a lot of in and out and too many opportunities to grab food, etc.

Well... we didn't anticipate that everyone was going to be out of the house by 8:30p this year. It was like... what do we do... without the dogs????? Terrible feeling.

I see those ancient graffiti S signs. Those are from my childhood 😂😂

Exactly why I had to "laugh" at the photo and caption

This Dingo is built for summer. She'll run right out there and immediately go into 'carcass' mode. Of course I disturbed her when I went to get a picture

Find the dobe...she likes to explore and I indulge her "following her nose", pathfinding on game trails or little used foot paths.

Its team building and hunt drive boosting.

Our first trainer gave a good tip: an hour of sniffies in a new place is great brain work, and equal to an hour of walk in exercise.

When it's too warm to sleep on your brother you have to do the next best thing.
