Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2026

Still not adjusted to the time change....I usually get to the lake before the sun is up, and watch it rise there....never anyone out other than guys putting their boats in the lake, so I can let them run.......yesterday, got to the lake too late with them, and there were some people with loose dogs. Fortunately, they stayed by their owners, but I just walked these two around on leash. They were totally confused why they were not running wild like the strangers!

They all get along with no attitudes?
grabbed this from security cameras (more like dog watching cameras) so I could share what is happening every time I check in. The two that are the closest and tangled up in a cuddle are the littermates, Zastava and Dutchess. They honestly seem to have some social code between them that allows wrestling when I am home and in the room with them, but if they think I can't see them, this is what it looks like. I check in on them about 8 times each day from work, and spend my 30 minute lunch with them at home, so they can get outside (and wrestle). They have all always seemed completely at peace with each other, although, Katyusha is momma hen and neither of the others have dared challenge her, nor do they seem to want to. 1773686435923.webp

If you ever venture to the southwest I'll hire you for photographs - tell me it's not a phone! Gorgeous pictures!
Thank you! I took those with my camera. I don’t tend to use it much for the dogs because the autofocus doesn’t seem to work well with them. I would love to get a different camera that has animal eye tracking, but that probably won’t be for a long time because it’s pricey.

I took hundreds of pictures yesterday and only a few were fully focused (or at least focused enough lol). For whatever reason the autofocus picked anything but the dogs to focus on more often than not… 🙁 Most of the pictures turned out like these. Have you tried the TV (time value) setting so you can set it to a fast shutter speed to get things in focus even when they're action shots?
