I saw Asha circle and drop the stick at the gate, THINK, then circle and drop the stick again, attempt to get it through, THINK, then circle ... I thought to myself, she is about to figure it out, go get the camera! And just in time because a minute later she got it in.

Short explain, this is a temporary fence to keep the free range chickens out of the front yard & off the front porch. Not a dog fence, she assumes this gate is a doggy door to the "big acres".

I know Dobes are smart, but I can see the wheels turn in this girls head daily.

I already started Robin (8 1/2 weeks old) on some puzzle solving- really easy puzzles like stuffing one toy into another for her to get apart. I never started this so early in a puppy's life, but she seems to like getting them apart.
