Jojo is my first Doberman! And first large breed of dog, I’m 19 and I took a whole 2 years off college and work (unintentionally
) to train him and make sure he’s successful. Growing up I’m sure we’ve all been told how “Intact Dogs” are unpredictable, uncontrollable and untrainable. I’ve chosen to keep him intact just to see if this stigma was true, especially after all the work I’ve put into him too make sure I wouldn’t fail him. And that he’s reliable. Since the day he arrived at 11 weeks, I’ve prioritized teaching him neutrality in public and having a 100% reliable recall. And impulse control. You never really stop training, it’s a lifestyle. Me and Jojo have a fresh new YouTube channel up called “Meep&Mia”! I’d love for any Doberman fans to follow our journey! I’ll be posting all his offleash adventures there and training tips that worked for us!.
