Liberty has certainly grown up, and far too quickly might I ad. Justice is at the perfect age where he's mellowed out and has become a really perfect Dobe, and my best friend might I ad. Liberty is 10 months old and Justice is 2 years and 8 months. This was a fun day to be outside as it was 40 degrees and sunny, so we welcome spring.......

Liberty dashing thru the snow: Thanks' to Michelle for the idea's in the shots

I do hope you all had just a terrific weekend as we did.

Your shots are awesome! Looks like you've been practicing and tweaking that camera! It's amazing how much Liberty has grown now. I almost have a hard time telling them apart in the one photo with their backs to us.

Thank you Amanda !!! Yes she's grown up to be quite the lil lady. I do have a barking issue with her but I'm trying to save the E-collar for the worst case scenario......Otherwise she's perfect, and a true friend to Justice and I. Although they do have their moments they are inseparable.

Wow great shots Stephen! You must have certainly gotten some great tips from Michele since the composure is great!

They both look great and I can't believe Liberty is already 8 months!

How much snow did you get down there? I know you were supposed to get hit, but we just got a dusting, which is fine with me since we have enough now and I'm ready for spring. ;)

Hey Jan,

Oh I'm glad you like the shots, I got the idea since Michele always get's the best shots of her dogs bursting thru snow, so I finally got down on my knees and tried a different angle. That was all really, but they are starting to get better. I've gotten used to the new Nikon so things should start to look better from here on out.

Liberty is 10 months already, and yes I know it's flown bye !!!

As to snow ? Well I have about 2 1/2 ft in some places, I think we got 7" the other day but luckily it's sunny and warm, so it should be leaving us shortly ( I hope anyways ). I'm ready for spring !!!

Hope all is well

Fantastic shots! They look so happy together. What lucky pups to have so much room to run and play. My Liberty has grown up hasn't she? Where does the time go?

What gorgeous Dobermans they are, Stephen! Beauty, attitude, sass, and energy! ! You have lots of snow, wow! They are in up to their bellies at times! They really make a beautiful pair!

Ah thank you Jess.....Hows the house hunting coming along ? Any chance you can find some with land to roam ? I find the drive/commute is worth having room to roam.

I wish I knew where the time went...... seems like yesterday Justice and I were in Las Vegas clueless to where life would lead us together, now here we are, on small happy lil family in the middle of nowhere, but I've never looked back. I find great joy in providing a wonderful home for these two, and it makes me so happy to see them happy. Gotta love the simple things in life.

Oh boy do we have snow......didn't really get a major storm either, just a few inches here and there have totalled to be over 2 1/2 feet ! They love the snow though, and with weather like this ( 40 degrees ) it's a joy to be outside.

Thank you for the compliments !!!

I don't want to hijack the thread but it is going well. We go in a week to look at houses in person. Our two top houses are 1+ acre. Unfortunately we couldn't find one within a reasonable commute and our price range that we liked with a really large lot. But even those 1 acre lots are plenty of space for them to stretch their legs. We'll be jealous of your acres, though. ;)

I never worry about hi-jacked threads, unless that guy is trying to sell dog food to us or something.......LOL

One acre is PLENTY Jess........ I hope you get the one you want. So are they fenced yet, because keep that in mind that fencing is NOT cheap....... when I was getting 3 acres fenced here, the bids came in between 15-20,000 dollars.
