Koa ear update and question

Hello! Koa is 17 weeks and was wanting some ear advice. This photo is during a break, about to repost but wanted to see if you all thought I should use bumpers? Not sure if he is getting pokets or not? They seem fine but today looked a bit inward when he was fully alert.

I agree with @JanS.

A lot of the time, when one starts posting individual ears, the “appearance” of a pocket will work itself out as the ear gains better individual control/strength.

This little pup is an example of needing bumpers for sure.
