Is Flint smaller than he should be?

I haven't had him weighed in awhile but I'd guess 70lbs, maybe 75. He is only 24 inches at the shoulder though, maybe 24 1/2. He is 9 months old, was officially 9 months old on the 2nd of April. Is he small? I feed him a cup and a half to two cups of food 3x a day depending on how active we are and he's still lean enough I can feel his last rib when I pet him. He was the largest in his litter so I am concerned that he isn't taller, not even in the breed standard for adult males or close to it and he's nearing a year old.

That's pretty average and he still has some growing to do height wise and he'll keep filling out for a few more years.

They can vary a lot and even though he was the largest in the litter, it doesn't mean he'll be bigger at maturity. Our Boris was the smallest in the litter and he matured to 93# and 29" tall.
