Heat Stroke After Math

Mental note and glad you posted.

95dg 95%humidity heat index of 110.

It gets hot here and just muggy. I don’t mind being hot and sweating, but I definitely need to keep Ragnar in mind. He will stay outside as long as I am out there.

I’m glad to hear he is doing better now! And it definitely is scary it’s one of those things you don’t really think about in cooler climates. I guess its good to be prepared regardless of climate.

Are you pleased with this vest? Do you have to keep it wet for cooling?
We’re happy with it. Easy on and off with that smart little clasp at the start of the zipper. We soak it, wring it, and put it on him between training sessions on the field. Keeps him cool while he waits. We’ve never left it on long enough to dry up, but we have a very dry climate here so I bet it wouldn’t take long on a hot day. I used to keep a spray bottle to refresh it while he’s wearing it, but I find a water bottle poured over the vest way faster.
