Yes, you found him and that is a frozen lake! We have been to this spot many times but never when it’s so frozen over that we felt safe walking on it. Quite the experience!

I'm with you there and need a lot of ice before I'll even walk out there. We have so many idiots around here who will drive out there when it's not thick enough and of course they have several rescues a year since they go through.
