Ear cropping ban in Canada

Ontario set to join all other provinces and territories by January 1, 2027, when its new regulations take effect. This legislation makes Ontario the final Canadian jurisdiction to prohibit the procedure. Sad.

The AR groups are winning this fight. They convinced the majority that ear cropping and docking is cruel.

Ugh so disappointing. I know one Doberman breeder in BC who stopped breeding them because of it. She was coming across the border to have her pups done but I think customs started making that too hard too.
