Recently I learned that @Dobie Wan Knobie and Drogon share some dogs in their ancestry and possibly @Prushanks also. I thought it might be fun to find out which of our dogs share common ancestry.

I find all the ancestry information very interesting. At this point Luna doesn't have a registered name with the AKC because I have to get her spayed first. I don't have the lineage for her mother (The Darling of London Derry) yet but do have some information for her sire, Dartagnan D'Mir Those De Britton. His sire is D'Mirko Di Altobello and his dam is Cheyenne Di Altobello De Britton. D'Mirko Di Altobello's sire was Maxim Di Altobello, who was the Junior World winner in 2008, and Vice World Winner 2009 and his Dam was Altobellos' Top Female Wild Cherry Di Altobello who was also Vice World Winner in 2006.

I gather that when I get Luna registered by name after she's spayed I will be able to see the full pedigrees for both parents?

I don't know much about these official AKC names. All of our dogs over the years have been rescues except for one. I love @Prushanks pups name! I was thinking "Luna goddess of London". We live in the city of London, Ontario and London is also her dam's name. Luna means goddess of the moon. I was also thinking "Luna werewolf of London" but didn't know if that would be acceptable?
 
This is from a spreadsheet I did listing their pedigree 5 generations back - it is a bit jumbled without the columns and cells, but you can see some names. I was hoping to post the spreadsheet in tact - but doesn't look like it will work.

Luna and Miesha both have Altobello and De Britton ancestors so they must be cousins!! lol I'm a huge GOT fan - I'm gonna go with House Martell! Drogon obviously has to go with House Targaryen. :D

New York State isn't that far for me - depending on where you are. My Uncle lives in Rochester. Buffalo is 2 hours from my house.

Hahahahha!! Yes! We are too!!! LMAO!! I have yet to figure out what Miesha is.. Damned House Pain-in-the-Arse at the moment!
Bummer.. I am in about 40 minutes from NYC in Westchester County... no where near Buffalo. :( But if you ever happen to take a trip down or visa versa!! :D

I've been to NYC twice so far. The first time we were camping in Connecticut and took the train in for the day. The second time we did a cruise out of NYC. It's on my bucket list to go back for a long weekend visit but not with Luna. lol

I can very much relate to the pain in the butt thing - tonight every time I turned around I had to peel Luna off my 7 year old. She is convinced he is her litter mate and fair game to be pushed over and munched on. Lev isn't thrilled with Luna trying to nip at him and knock him over. I finally had to lock Lev in a bedroom with his Ipad because I was getting tired of having to get up every 2 minutes to intervene. Maybe Luna is from House Lannister after all?? :wacky:

LMFAO! They really are sista's from anotha' motha'!!! LOL... i have to do the same damned thing with both my boys! I'm constantly telling them to "GO IN THE PLAYROOM!!" So who is it i'm really "crating" then??? :D
OMG.. you have been to the NYC two more times than i have this year!! I never make it down there!!
 
Miesha, Jedi, and Drogon all share Fedor del Nasi. I looked him up and wow 'he got around' lol. Look at all those off-spring FEDOR DEL NASI - World Pedigree DataBase Dobermann, Dobermann Pedigree DataBase.
