We took Kaiser to the “Badlands” where there are large dinosaur bone deposits. It’s a major tourist area in summer, so it was pretty quiet now.

Lots of stairs to go down into the canyon.

Dobersaurus Rex in his natural habitat

“I’m the King of the world!”

Surveying his kingdom

Like being on another planet!

Testing the gravity -
perfect for The Dobernaut!

An iceberg?!

“Dobernaut requesting permission to explore!”

We went off track here into a very narrow trail so we let Kaiser off leash so no one ended up in a hole like this!

Exiting the narrow trail.

Our Lion King moment
“Everything the light touches”

Ending with a visit to the Hoodoos.

I swear we stumbled onto a drug deal. There were bikers and some cars acting very suspicious. It was a scary encounter because my hb went with Kaiser down to the river bank while I was supposed to wait in the car in the parking lot. Like as if I'm going to sit there by myself so I ran down to the river. The area was full of crunchy leaves and some of them were really deep so I almost fell down after tripping on a giant tree root. Once I got myself under control, I looked up to see the four horsemen of the apocalypse and then I realized it was just Kaiser

so we got some groceries to make sandwiches and that's when the next parking lot incident occurred
