5 month old with stomach issues

Yup kefir and/or pure pumpkin usually helps a lot. You just don't want to overdo it with the pumpkin since it can work both ways.
In this case I like the kefir because it is loaded with live prebiotic. Should be perfect for getting the gut back in shape.

@Rmrizzo I forgot to say thank you for going the extra mile to get this figured out. You would be surprised how many people just dump their pet because they don't want the aggravation or to spend any money. :( So THANK YOU and please us posted how it's going.

Are you doing Raw Goats Milk? Also have you tried Raw Cow Kefir? Lots of milk products are pasteurized which is the problem.
Yes, she gets primal pumpkin goats milk, it’s raw. I haven’t tried raw cow Keifer, maybe she could handle that too.

I know you mentioned you give Primal pumpkin goats milk. I would try giving pure canned pumpkin (not the pumpkin pie filling with all the spices in it).

My recommendation is a fish and ancient grains kibble for dobies. It has a low fat protein, high in oils, and higher in carbs than some but not the kind of carbs that come from plain grains.

Nature's Logic - Distinction Sardine recipe (No filler, Healthy grains, legume and potato free, contains prebiotics and probiotics in its nutrient pack so you dont need to supplement)

Open Farm - Wild-Caught salmon & Ancient Grains (contains Salmon, pumpkin, healthy grains; legume/pea/potatoe free, great for skin and coat; I don tthink it has the same nutrient pack, so I do a pro/prebiotic powder sometimes cuz I feed this one)

I also recommend supplementing with freeze dried, maybe a pork or beef if chicken isnt agreeing with them. Never known a dog to have problems with freeze dried since its less processed (Stella & Chewy, SmallBatch, Primal, Bixbi, Green Juju, NZ Natural, Northwest Naturals, OC Raw, Vital Essentials)

I agree with the others recommending goats milk and/or kefir (Primal, Green Juju, Bones & Co, Answers), as well as a dash of pumpkin (Weruva makes nice pumpkin packets).

Something I highly recommend is HYDRATING the food. Dogs arent designed to eat nothing by dry stuff just like we aren't. Hydrating the food before it goes down into their belly can A. help them gobble it up slower, B. eat less and feel more full, C. ease stomach cramping or pain, and D. sometimes help with stool issues.

Hope those ideas give you some inspiration! Good luck!!
