worms

Hi, So I gave Hunter his worming tablet last night (at 12 weeks) and today he has been excreting worms regularly - one was just hanging out of his anus (a lovely sight). I don't know a lot about this side of things so is this normal/should I get him to the vet to have the worms removed...
