What are these numbers referring to when you say 30/20 for example? I assume first number is protein percent, but unsure of the other? I think the pro plan savor I got is either 26 or 27% protein.
Perfect, sounds great. Definiteltly am glad I had this issue to learn the benefit of switching proteins. I'd prefer the Farmina due their excellent track record in history, but the pro plan was something I was able to pick up locally and give a shot on, vs waiting to order Farmina online when I...
Thanks for the input from everyone, it's much appreciated! So even though that 10 days of her not eating much was really stressful, it sounds like it was a good thing that it happened so that I could learn about the benefits of switching feeds on occasion.
Originally with Farmina, she was...
My pup Schatzi just turned 1 at the end of February, and has been on Farmina Ancestral Grains since she was about 4 months old. Starting about a week ago, she decided she doesnt enjoy eating food anymore which really worried me and I took her to the vet and got a clean bill of health, including...
The tips dont flop or curl over, they always stand as can be seen in the pics, even after the longest down period of 6 days. The only "flopping/wiggling" occurs while in full stride, but to my understanding, that is normal and the tips will continue to harden until around 2 yrs old. The tips...
Thanks to both of you, I'm hoping the posting is finished now! They had been down for 6 days when those last pictures were taken. Took them down tonight again for the hurricane approaching so I didnt have to worry about them getting wet.
Mine does the laying back of the ears, further out to...
Schatzi is about 6.5 months old now, and I'm pretty sure I'm almost done posting. The purpose of this post isnt to ask if you think I should stop posting, but more of a functionality question.
As can be seen in the pictures, her ears stand perfect 99% of the time, but in that rare 1% of the...
Perfect, that's pretty much what I feed her anyways. I do about 3.75 cups per day, half in the morning and half at night. I think the bag said closer to 3 cups on the adult bag which is why I was wondering.
Sounds good, thanks for the input- I didnt know about that so I will stick with the adult feed then. Would you reccomend using the adult feeding schedule? It's a bit less than the puppy schedule per her weight and age on the old bag.
I made the switch to Farmina Ancestral grain for my pup on my last bag of feed - medium kibble and it said puppy on the bag. Everywhere was out of stock when I needed more and could only get it on amazon, and just realized there are no feeding instructions on the bag for puppies - Its the same...
I certainly hope so! While some things have improved, others have gotten worse. And I'm even getting her way more exercise now too but that doesnt seem to help except the 15 minutes following it.
I got a routine figured out with the posting, but still need to figure a way to get her to stop bouncing off the walls inside, I seriously am still struggling to do the smallest of tasks with her out ha.
And a battle it was!! Ha. She still gets a little fidgety, but its certainly improved 10 fold in that aspect.
The other issues, not so much, but they have improved slightly too.
