Critters and wildlife in your area - post your pics

Yes. I dont let her chase birds or interfere in nests, etc. That humming bird nest at about waist height a year ago she was curious about but listened well to "leave it" and ignored it. Sadly, coyotes or raptors got it, as it was in a vulnerable spot. But I encourage Bonnies interest, inc on...

Find the dobe...she likes to explore and I indulge her "following her nose", pathfinding on game trails or little used foot paths. Its team building and hunt drive boosting. Our first trainer gave a good tip: an hour of sniffies in a new place is great brain work, and equal to an hour of walk...

Ya, it was fuzzy and almost looking like it just shed, so I was going by the triangular head, typical pit viper givesway. Interrsting factoid- the local gopher snakes defence is its mimicry of rattlesnake markings, inc the ability to flatten its head. Some are observed to rapidly vibrate tail...

What flea and tick prevention do you use besides heart worm medicine..

Good ? @JanS I've found a couple of the western blacklegged ticks on me in past year, less than 24 hrs, and another a year ago. Plenty on Bonnie but usually find them right away, and those I dont a day later seem half dead from the Symparica Trio...😉 So thanks @strykerdobe for the tip- might go...

    Doberman becoming "extinct?"

Great stories @Sunje I appreciate the integrity you being to discussions on breeding responsibly. Ya, Basenji probly not a fit for Floriduh Man. Monkey dogs look like fun. https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/affenpinscher/

    Doberman becoming "extinct?"

PS: @Sunje iirc you bred? Showed? Owned Basenjis for awhile? I know you are very busy but one of these days if you have thoughts to share on that breed, would like to hear more from your wise perspective. I've always been fascinated by their unique, almost feral (in a good way) behavior. More...
