Thank you everybody! It's officially been added onto his AKC name too! Next we will start preparing for dock diving (after he learns how to swim) and scent work.
Voting has started again!!! This is the quarter finals! There are only 3 rounds left but Flint has to make 1st place in each round or he is cut! Feel free to share his voting page and thank you for any donations to the PAWS Foundation you generously give!
We are going to WIN THIS!!!

I've got a friend asking if Cardiac OFA is better than a 24 hour holter monitor, or better than an ECG. I don't actually know.
I would think from "best" to "doesn't matter" it would be
1. 24 hour holter
2. ECG
3. Cardiac OFA
But I'm curious if anyone else would know.
I found out last night it's absolutely a game. My husband has some well meaning but pea-brained friends that love dogs. One of them grabbed his chew while he was doing that behavior. Flint play bowed, then grabbed the chew and they played tug. After the friend let it go to just let him win...
Speaking of whining I have stumbled across this collar and I wanted to know if anyone has tried it? I have heard good things about Dogtra's e-collars but I haven't heard much about their bark collars specifically.
Dogtra Smart No Bark Collar
Apparently it can detect whining, barking, howling...
Sometimes I'll give Flint something to chew on and he will whine and just stare at it. When I approach, he barks, dives at it, then growls and takes it away. When I walk away, he starts whining again without touching it.
I have no idea what he wants. I usually give him something to chew if I...
Links to the voting page are above. Flint is now in the TOP 5 for his group. If he does not finish in 1st place by the end of the 13th, we are probably out of the competition. He is in 1st place right now but anything can happen!
Just reminding everyone to vote, please and thank you! You can...
We are currently in the process of earning our CGC right now. He will have his test on March 1st. The trainer I work with is a balanced trainer and will allow us to start with prongs and treat rewards then gradually wean off before the test, since the test does not allow prongs.
So his energy is back, but I have noticed he favors his right hind leg on occasion. He will trot for a bit, then start limping on it for a few steps then go back to trotting on it. For awhile I didn't think anything of it, we have some not so nice plants in our yard that we are slowly getting...
Flint is a year and a half and still has his jewels.
Yes. Everything seems okay.
Flint is half that age. Even my husband was surprised he settled so quickly and was concerned.
Basically for the last month I have noticed Flint behaving very well in the house to the point I leave him out of the crate and play video games. He is content to just snooze on the couch and he no longer makes noise in his crate to get me up in the morning.
Sounds good. Sounds like he is...
You guys have been awesome! Flint won round 1 in 1st place!!!
We are now in round 2, which ends Thursday. He is still in 1st place but tomorrow there is a high chance that the donations to this charity will count as double votes. If you guys can toss more free votes at him I'd appreciate it...
You guys are so awesome! Thank you!
Yeah I was hoping I would convince people to vote because it's different from "I think he should because I just love him so much!" It would also be a good thing to bring awareness, if not actually a win.
